Directions and Parking
For directions to the campus and parking and campus shuttle information, visit the Rice University Campus Maps page.

The closest visitor parking to Duncan is the Founder's Court Lot, a paid parking area accessible via Entrance #2 off Main Street.

Free parking is in the Rice Stadium Lot. Shuttles are available to take you to Duncan Hall.

  • From University Blvd. enter campus via Entrance #8.
  • Pass the Police Department (on your left), and park in the visitors' section.
  • Go to the nearest bus stop to catch the "Inner Loop" shuttle to Duncan Hall.
  • Ask the driver to let you off at Duncan Hall. The driver will notify when you have reached the building.

Ground Transportation

Houston has a new light rail line that runs in front of the Rice campus, linking Downtown, Midtown, the Museum District and the Texas Medical Center.
